A Rainy Summer Wedding in Essex: Church Ceremony, Tipi Celebration, and Festival Vibes
Rain may have graced the beautiful summer wedding of Faye & Ben in Essex, but it only added to the charm of an unforgettable day filled with love, laughter, and vibrant energy. From an intimate church ceremony to a lively backyard celebration complete with a tipi and festival-inspired touches, this wedding was a perfect mix of tradition and personal style.
Styled to perfection as always by the crazy talented Hayley at Starry Eyed Events and, gorgeous to work alongside the love Sian Williams, videographer!
A Romantic Church Ceremony In Essex
The day began at the home of Faye’s parents where I shot all the excited preparations. The standout moment being her walking down the stairs to meet her waiting Dad, followed by her adorable little boy giving her an unprompted kiss on her hand! Faye a church ceremony in their picturesque Essex village. Despite the rain, the atmosphere was warm and joyful as family and friends gathered to witness the couple exchange vows. Guests arrived with umbrellas in hand. Inside, the church was adorned with stunning floral arrangements by the awesome Starry Eyed Weddings & Events, featuring wild, trailing blooms that set the tone for the day’s vibrant aesthetic.
A Tipi Celebration with Festival Vibes in Bride’s family back garden in Essex
The celebration continued in Faye’s parent’s back garden, where a gorgeous tipi by Events Under Canvas stood ready to host the festivities. The rain didn’t dampen spirits—in fact, it made the setting feel even cozier. Vibrant floral installations adorned the tipi, creating a magical festival vibe. Wildflower bouquets and table arrangements brought pops of color, adding to the carefree and celebratory mood. And, when the rain did stop, guests mingled outside in the gorgeous gardens, enjoying the relaxed atmosphere provided by Boujee Music.
England’s European Cup Quarter Final Game Played a Huge Part in the Celebrations
For the football fans in attendance, the timing couldn’t have been better. A dedicated screen inside the tipi ensured no one missed the excitement of England’s European Cup quarter-final match. Cheers erupted as guests celebrated not just the couple’s union but also England’s performance, making it a truly unforgettable shared experience.
