A Glorious Summer Wedding at Blake Hall, Essex – A Rustic Barn Celebration with Pops of Red and Golden Hour Magic

Blake Hall in Essex is truly a dream wedding venue, and this hot summer wedding was no exception. As an Essex-based documentary I’m so luck to be able to document love stories in some of the most beautiful locations, but Blake Hall’s rustic charm, serene gardens, and enchanting barn spaces always stand out.

This wedding was a perfect blend of elegance and fun, with the bride looking every inch a Hollywood starlet in her breathtaking gown, complete with flawless Hollywood waves. The bridal party added a vibrant pop of color with bridesmaids dressed in striking red, which beautifully complemented the rustic surroundings and the lush greenery of Blake Hall.

Chloe & Reece like so many I work with, were initially a little camera-shy but quickly relaxed as we focused on some fun prompts to get them laughing and enjoying the short time away from their guests to catch their breath!

From the emotional exchange of vows in the ceremony space to the laughter shared over garden games on the manicured lawns, every moment was filled with joy and authenticity. Guests mingled under the shade of trees, sipping refreshing drinks and enjoying the relaxed, summer vibe.

As the evening approached, Blake Hall was bathed in the warm, golden light of the setting sun. Golden hour is every photographer’s dream, and this one was especially breathtaking.
