It’s been a lovely start to the year, I’ve had just a handful of weddings to keep me out of trouble, Ava turned 12 and we had some extremely unseasonably warm weather – it felt more like late Spring, so we took advantage and headed to the coast where we ate fish and chips, played the penny slots and walked the longest pier in the world (that wasn’t without quite a bit of complaining though!). The weather is back to grey and cold now though but Spring doesn’t feel far away!
