A Wedding That Reflected Their Personalities

Amanda & Ollie wanted a day that felt unapologetically them—full of life, love, and colour. From the bright floral arrangements bursting with purples, oranges and corals, to the Alice in Wonderland themed tea party decor and colourful confetti moment, the whole day felt joyful and totally personal. Colour can be such a powerful storytelling element in photography, and this wedding used it to full effect!

The ceremony took place in the beautifully converted Hay Barn, followed by drinks and mingling in the immaculate lawn. Guests enjoyed fizz under the summer sun, surrounded by bold blooms and the laughter of children blowing bubbles and playing on the lawns—a real relaxed, family-focused vibe.

As the day unfolded, we kept an eye on the sky—and it didn’t disappoint. Just before sunset, we took a quiet stroll up the driveway and were treated to a perfect golden hour. The light at Blake Hall is truly something special in the evening—it wraps around the couple and softens every shot.

The celebrations continued in the Essex Barn—a gorgeous setting for dinner and dancing. With fairy lights twinkling and colourful details carried through the tablescape and signage, the party kicked off with speeches full of laughter and happy tears before guests hit the dancefloor.
