Phil & Emily – a gorgeous Summer, sunset couples portrait shoot at Hylands House, Chelmsford.
We postponed this shoot twice because of our Great British weather, but I’m glad we did as, third time’s a charm! Emily and Phil wanted to shoot in the grounds of Hylands House – the venue for their wedding next month and as I’d been over there a few times already this year, I knew how beautiful the gardens would be at sunset. It had actually rained earlier that day but I’d been checking the forecast constantly so could see we were in for perfect sunset conditions! Phil and Emily were very relaxed as we strolled around and were a pleasure to photograph. My fingers are well and truly crossed for an evening like this on their wedding day. If you’re considering pencilling in some sunset portraits on your wedding day – consider no more – money can’t buy perfect evening light and there’s no better way to finish than a little bit of magic!
