Gorgeous Old Brook Barn Summer Wedding with Greys & Lilacs
My first visit to Old Brook Barn was for the glorious wedding of Sarah & Allan in mid-June. I think “hidden gem” is the perfect term for this venue, with a beautiful barn, a perfect meadow and incredible food from Limeberry Catering, I really hope I’ll be back soon! Sarah & Allan’s wedding day was blisteringly hot but this meant they could take advantage of the lovely grounds and hold their ceremony outside – perfection! Sarah looked stunning in her Enzoani gown and Allan cut a dashing figure too in a grey suit by Abigails Collection. Their wedding party were really a lot of fun and we got some great group shots amid lots of laughter! I’ve mentioned the food already, but it was so good it needs mentioning twice – fabulous meal!! After the (fabulous!) meal, came some emotional speeches, tears & laughter – I just adore speeches, hearing childhood stories and teenage pranks and capturing wonderful reactions to those! After dinner we were treated to some wonderful evening light and we made the most of that and popped into the meadow opposite the barns to get a few more portraits. Can’t beat a Summer evening! We left Sarah & Allan to enjoy the awesome 6 String Makeover & DJ Sparks and party the night away. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Wainwright on your cracking wedding day!
