Well now, where to start with Elin & Fraser…let’s just say they went BIG on their wedding day, and it, was, EPIC! They described their plans to me as ‘bright and bold but mainly a big mash up of all the things we love, people, lots of music, booze, Harry Potter, sweets, cheese and cake’. I mean, that sounds pretty perfect right?! Elin & Fraser’s day dawned hot with clear blue skies like most of our Summer last year, and we arrived early to capture the moment Fraser got his wedding present from Elin – check out below what it was, safe to say Elin is winning wife of the year before they’ve even tied the knot!!

With their main focus being on partying, Elin & Fraser opted for a midday ceremony so they could make the most out of the crazy golf drinks reception, get in an early wedding breakfast and then be back outside to astound their guests with a raucous afternoon’s entertainment from The Other Guys (West End actors knocking show tunes out the park!), during which, despite the heat of the day, everyone partied hard on the lawn! In between all of this we managed to get Elin & Fraser away for portraits, making the most of the beautiful evening light and the stunning driveway in front of Bruisyard Hall to try out their amazing kit car and bowl down the road with their wedding party and some uber colourful smoke bombs!

Elin’s attention to detail was pretty astounding – she designed all of that glorious stationery you can see, all of the signage too, she had the lyrics to her bridesmaids favourite songs embossed on the ribbons trailing from their bouquets and she looked bloody beautiful in her Suzanne Neville gown with that amazing pink dip dye skirt from Lucy Can’t Dance!

I also want to shout out to Emma who made that amazing cake you can see – Emmajane has been making cakes for my daughter’s birthday’s for years and let me tell you, they taste as good as they look! Smashing it Emmajane!

So, if you’re planning a bright and joyous wedding yourself and don’t want to stick to the rules, get some inspo from Elin & Fraser!
