I shot my first wedding in 2011 and the heart behind my work has always been to tell the story, to take photographs that feel like a memory. You won’t be surprised to know that I’m often told that the favourite images from my couples galleries are the subtle exchanges, the fleeting glances and the candids that brim with happiness. There’s always a lot going on at a wedding, emotions are high and I want you to be able to relive those feelings through your photos. It’s my job to bring the best out in you, and deliver a beautiful gallery of photographs that feel like YOU.
You want heartfelt photos that hold real meaning.
Your dad seeing you in your dress for the first time. Your tearful Nan hugs you after your ceremony. You and your partner squeeze hands as you listen to a reading by someone you love. These are the moments that will really matter in the years to come. I want to capture it all for you.
You don’t want over-staged posing.
If you’ve found your way to me, you probably hate the thought of that. I’ll give you gentle guidance so you’ll be have images that show a true representation of yourselves. That might involve a word game or an action to do whilst you walk, but it will all be done whilst I blend in (as all good introverts like to do) and hopefully feel more like a new friend is taking your photos rather than the stereotypical loud, domineering photographer you’ve pictured in your head!
You want all of this whilst still feeling present.
You want your photographs to be about your wedding, not your wedding to be about the photographs. That’s what I want too. I’ll help you pre-plan any family group shots you might want to include so they are done quickly and don’t eat into your drinks reception. I’ll find the best points in your timeline to do one or two short portrait sessions with you so you are not away from your guests for too long. Otherwise, I’ll be a fly on the wall, no interruptions, no awkward staging, just you two with your favourite people having the celebration that you’ve envisioned for so long.
You’re not just investing in a skilled photographer, you’re investing in my observational skills too.
My job isn’t to orchestrate your experience, it’s to honour it.
Over the last decade and a half, I’ve mastered the art of observation. I feel the pace of the day and lean into it. Every gesture, every hand squeeze, they’re worth holding onto. If I wasn’t there to capture them, they’d go unseen.
Documenting my three daughter’s childhoods has given me perspective and shaped the way I show up to document for others with a reverence for what’s real. I’ve been the bride, the excited bridesmaid, the life long friend and now my daughters are older, I relate to my couples parents too. Don’t be surprised to see me wipe away a quiet tear – I feel it.
So, my eyes and ears will be open all day, seeking that magic. I’ll gravitate to the noisy table, the one with your raucous friends. I’ll hang out by the bar to catch your guests doing shots and you bet I’ll be watching the kids at your wedding stealing sweets, pulling faces and being the first on the dance floor.

I’ll send you a welcome guide with helpful tips, timelines and supplier recommendations if you are still on the look out for any! If I’m not available for your date my lead associate photographer Sarah, could be an option for you. Sarah has been shooting weddings beside me and for our team for several years. She’s a gifted photographer and a brilliant human! If you’d like to have Sarah shoot for you, you’d liaise with both of us during your planning phase and I’d do all the post process work on your images in my signature style and deliver them to you.

Before the day.
WE plan & prep
10 weeks to go and I’ll send you a questionnaire I call ‘Your day in detail’. It covers all your timings, who’s who for your VIP people, must have group shot list, your other suppliers and a whole lot more. We can have a chat at this point if you’d like, to go over any of your timeline, or to ask me any questions or run any ideas past me. 10 days to go is when I’ll need all your info back so I can put it into a schedule for myself to refer to on the day. You’ll get a copy too so if you want to make any changes, you absolutely can! At this point I’ll also be letting you know exactly what to expect after the wedding including when you’ll receive your preview gallery!

Together we create art that will last a lifetime
HEIRLOOM IMAGES FOR THE GENERATIONS TO COME
In one or two (depending on your coverage length) 20 minute sessions we’ll work together to create something magic. We’ll shoot your planned for group shots, then, for the remainder of your wedding day, I’ll be capturing those natural moments as they unfold to tell the story of your day. And afterwards, when you’ve re-lived your wedding through your online gallery, you can choose from a huge range of print options so your images can be adored in your home. I can even design you a beautiful fine art album so your wedding day images will become a truly family heirloom.

A member of my team will accompany me for the full coverage. I believe it makes perfect sense to have two shooters, that way we can cover every aspect of your wedding, each documenting one side of the party throughout prep, and then meeting at the ceremony to get you different perspectives across the entire day. I’ve shot alongside my team members for years, we know exactly how each other works, and my second shooters know exactly what I need. Including a second shooter is also added insurance that should anything unforeseen happen that means I’m not able to make it on the day, I have a trusted, experienced team member on site to document your day. PRE WEDDING SHOOT
Pre wedding shoots are so much more than you think! They are a chance to capture you both at a momentous point in your journey, to take a breather from the chaos of wedding planning and, if your are in the majority of couples who find their way to me, and you feel uncomfortable or anxious having your photograph taken, then this is the perfect opportunity for me to show you how easy it can be. Many of my couples print and frame their favourites and have them on show at the wedding, and, on the day, you’ll be absolute pro’s at portraits!
