Pinks & Pampas grasses for an early Autumn outdoor wedding at Nettlestead Place. Essex documentary wedding photographer.
Alex & Georgina booked in with me to shoot their amazing wedding after I photographed the wedding of Alex’s cousin! I love it when I get to see families that I’ve already met, it’s a real privilege, so I couldn’t wait to shoot this one! I’d not been to Nettlestead before but as soon as I pulled up, I was in love! It is extraordinary – the grounds are exceptional and parts of it reminded me of chateaus in France I’ve worked at! Who needs France when Kent has it going on! The girls prepped in the upstairs rooms of the main house, gorgeous light and really roomy and the boys at an address not too far away. Georgina had a definite wild, boho vibe running through the decor, with on trend pampas grasses in the bouquets and a stunning Macrame installation in the ceremony gazebo – it perfectly suited the warm, Autumn day. We were spoilt for choice for portrait backdrops and even sweet talked the head gardener into letting us into his lovely greenhouse! Dinner and speeches were set in a pretty marquee the couple had adorned with gin inspired centre pieces, finished up by some excellent dance floor action! Alex & Georgina – thank you so much for having us along to document your awesome day – we loved it!
