An at home Lifestyle Family Portrait session with newborn baby E
My first shoot of 2016 was with this little beauty! Born just before Christmas Baby E’s family wanted a relaxed, documentary shoot at home to capture life with their new arrival. I adore these shoots, especially with a newborn as they immediately take me back to when each of my girls arrived – my house was a bit messy and everything felt pretty overwhelming. This time is fleeting, {though it may not feel that way when you’re in the midst of it!} and is worth capturing, I wish I had.
Thats the beauty of ‘lifestyle’ shoots though, there’s no need to tidy up, I won’t be hiding it either because there’s beauty in this reality. This is what life looks like with a new baby and these shoots are a photo journalistic account of your life as it is now. I think reality rocks!
