A Travel Inspired, Rainy day, Dewsall Court Wedding.

Now this, is a wedding blog for any Bride & Grooms-to-be who are concerned about rain on their wedding day.  I know this is a major worry because ALL my couples talk to me about what will happen if it rains.  I always say the same thing.  We’ll embrace it, we’ll document it, we’ll make it a part of the day because, quite simply, IT IS a part of your day.  Not only that, but as the lovely Ali & Emma proved, it doesn’t have to change your plans.

Emma & Ali wanted their ceremony outside, it was majorly important to them.  They planned their humanist service, a ceremony that was so totally all about them and their loved ones, an integral part of it was based on being outdoors.  And then it rained.  And it didn’t stop raining.  But, as they say, rain did not stop play.  Their wonderful guests, family and friends, happily sat under umbrellas to enjoy this incredible celebration, and despite getting a soaking, I for one, felt it was just perfect and I know I wasn’t alone!

Ali & Emma won my wedding photography giveaway brilliantly hosted by the fab Mr & Mrs Unique last Autumn.  They immediately came across as very warm, vibrant and very much in love and when I heard the details of their Dewsall Court wedding, I knew it was going to be something really special.  And it was, it really was….(check the details out on this one – they are genius and completely Pin-tastic!)
