A Beautiful Cathedral Wedding and a Rustic Barn Reception with a Glamorous twist at Blake Hall
Katie & Daniel were married back in September at the imposing Brentwood Cathedral, followed by a glamorous reception at the rustic barns of the always beautiful, Blake Hall. These two met at university and though it took them 13 years to tie the knot, I think you’ll agree when you see these images, it was worth the wait! Katie and her maids prepped at her parents house and they were all very high spirited and blooming gorgeous! Dan had a pre-wedding drink to calm the nerves at a pub around the corner from the cathedral! Katie had chosen a very neutral theme with all white flowers with plenty of greenery, and her bridesmaids wore dove grey. These colours worked incredibly well with the cathedral, so open and airy with just a touch of understated opulence and she carried this through when decorating the barn. Katie’s dress was perfect, very classic with the modern twist of pockets (I loved this detail!) by Jesus Peiro and Dan and the boys looked sharp in Navy suits by Reiss.
The couple were very generous with the time they gave me and we got some fabulous portraits in the glorious gardens of Blake Hall – looking so vibrant still in September! Katie’s dad and Dan’s brother treated us to some hilarious speeches and made us extremely welcome whilst we shot the reception and we left them all dancing the night away.
A beautifully stylish day for a beautifully stylish couple!
