Hunter Greens and Navy Blues for a Winter Wedding. Bride & Groom include their cat!
January I think gets overlooked for a wedding! My lovely hubby and I got married in January and yeah, it was cold but we had the most glorious, crisp, winters day and embraced the best parts of Winter! Lucy and Adam had the same idea, also wanting to tie in the date with the birthday of Lucy’s late Mum so they would feel close to her on the day. Such a beautiful tribute don’t you think? They’d also told me plenty about their beloved rescue cat Nora and they really wanted to include her in the day, which, being a fellow feline lover, I was thrilled about and we made sure to stop off at their home after their gorgeous church ceremony to take some portraits with their fur baby.
The couple had chosen a golf club close by to hold their reception and they’d really thrown their personalities and favourite things into the details! Each table represented something different and they’d laid out hats, masks and all kinds of thoughtful gifts for their guests!
After very emotional speeches (and a hilarious slide show by the best man!), these guys didn’t hesitate to hit the dance floor! Such a fun, happy wedding to document and I think you’ll agree, January looks gorgeous on Lucy & Adam!
