Bride wears vintage dress with Bridesmaids in purple satin for church ceremony and a Mariachi party reception at The Reid Rooms. Essex documentary wedding photographer.
Jess & Billy tied the knot last September in an emotional church service held at St Bedes in Romford, following a family tradition. I even re-created a shot of their family in the gardens to replicate one Jess’s parents took at their own wedding! Jess wore a stunning vintage dress from Brides Do Good which was wonderfully complemented by her Bridesmaids in purple gowns by Ghost, also offering a vintage 70’s vibe. This bunch were so much fun to be around and they really knew how to have a good time! Jess’s very talented brother sang for their guests throughout the drinks reception at The Reid Rooms whilst everyone enjoyed drinks and canapés and the children made the most of the lawn games! To get the party started, Jess & Billy surprised everyone with a brilliant Mariachi band during dinner (bloody lovely Paella!) and this totally set the mood with her Dad then singing ‘Take good care of my baby’ during the speeches (totally made me blub along with everyone else!). Once they hit the dance floor, there was one more surprise in store from Jess’s brother who’d composed a song for the newlyweds which had everyone sobbing – this guy could give Ed Sheeran a run for his money! I think Jess wins the prize for the smiliest bride, just look at the joy on her face! Everything that I love about documenting weddings is right here!
