Kate & Jonathon, Greens & Whites for an Elegant Easter Wedding at Gate Street Barn. Bride wears Watters. Essex Documentary Wedding Photographer.
Kate and Jof lucked out with their big day as it fell on the mini heatwave we had over Easter weekend So Gate Street Barn was looking all kinds of fabulous in under clear blue Spring skies! Though to be fair, Kate and Jof did such an awesome job with choosing the decor, it would’ve looked incredible no matter what the weather was doing! With gorgeous on trend foliage filling the venue and simple yet oh so elegant table settings, this wedding ready is a dream! Little touches like the favours of olive oil, hand picked by the couple at Kate’s Dad’s house in France, finished off the look to perfection. After the wonderful ceremony, I took the newlyweds off for a walk around the grounds of Gate Street Barn, where we lucked out with a Bluebell carpeted wood (even if I did step straight into a bog trying to get to it – with open toe sandals on!!) and the resident cows came over to say Hi! The guest enjoyed delicious canapés and drinks in the gardens whilst we cracked on with a few group shots before everyone headed into the barn for dinner, followed by some top notch speeches! We finished up with a few bonus sunset portraits in the driveway before Entree got the party started! Thanks to Kate and Jof for having me along, it really was a pleasure to document your stunning wedding!
